A remote medical assessment

A video consultation allows you to speak with a doctor, review your history and explain your concerns. Whether your case can be addressed depends on the available information and what can be assessed remotely.

A website cannot confirm that a particular health problem will be resolved online. Suitability for remote care is therefore considered before coordinating the appointment.

What a camera cannot replace

A video call does not replace every part of a physical examination and cannot provide procedures. You may need to attend a health facility or have tests, depending on the situation.

AL Clínica does not replace an emergency service. For serious symptoms or an emergency, seek local in-person medical care.

Prescriptions and certificates

Prescriptions and certificates are not automatic. Issuing them depends on medical assessment, history, contraindications and applicable rules.

If you need a specific document, mention it before booking to understand the scope of the service. Payment covers the assessment, not a guarantee that a document will be issued.

Clear information before deciding

Confirm the language, fee, schedule and consultation format beforehand. You can verify the doctor’s registration through Chile’s Registro Nacional de Prestadores Individuales de Salud, linked on our homepage.

This guide explains the service. It does not replace an individual assessment or provide a diagnosis.
