How to book a video consultation while traveling in Chile
Learn how AL Clínica appointments work, including consultation languages, service hours, fees and payment.
Before you book
AL Clínica offers private medical video consultations for travelers in Chile. Start by contacting us on WhatsApp: say that you are in Chile, which consultation language you prefer and briefly what you need. Share only the personal information needed to coordinate your appointment.
Before confirmation, we consider whether your case can be assessed remotely. If you need an in-person assessment, a video call does not replace it.
Languages and service hours
Medical consultations take place in Spanish or English. Initial booking support is also available in Portuguese, but patients need to understand and respond directly in Spanish or English during the consultation.
Booking support operates daily from 09:00 to 21:00, Chile time. Wait for confirmation before treating a time slot as reserved.
Fees and payment
The consultation fee is CLP $35,000. Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive payment instructions for Prex. The Brazilian real conversion on the homepage is approximate and can change.
If you need paperwork for travel insurance, ask which documents can be provided and check coverage with your insurer. AL Clínica does not guarantee reimbursement.
During and after the call
The doctor reviews your concerns and medical history. Recommendations depend on that assessment. Booking or paying does not guarantee a prescription or certificate.
Before ending the call, confirm how you will receive recommendations and what to do if you need another assessment. In an emergency, seek local urgent medical care.
